After the reading of January minutes, Gary declared them approved. Vincent Gaietto read the Treasurer’s report which was approved by the membership.
Old Business: None Discussed
New Business:
Good Shepard Room rental has gone up from $30 a month to $40 a month. The space used for the Christmas Potluck is now $75.
One guest Steve Manget was present for the meeting and next meeting would like to become a member.
Show Business:
Due to dealers leaving the show late and Security Guard Justin Kizer staying late the past couple of years the club motioned to write an additional check for $25 to Justin. Next year, Security will know to stay until everyone is out as part of the payment. This motion was approved by Harry with a 2nd approval by Francine.
The club is in need of 10-12 more tables for next year’s show for filling out tickets, and additional dining space.
Secretary will look for Member Name Tags, and Flyers to put out at table for next year’s show.
Chuck Brandeberry is still looking for a replacement as show chairman.
Club discussed the importance of a sign in sheet for guests and potential ways to make that sheet mandatory.
Coin Show Financial Report- $3,562 (Total Expenses)
$3,322 (Total Earned)
$240 Deficit
Deficit Major Contributing Factors: Raffle Ticket sales were extremely low this year, club needs to sell more tickets to be profitable. Error of date on initial raffle tickets was incorrect, the new order was costly.
