as was the Treasurer’s report. Next meeting will be held on Monday, October 16th, at 7:30pm, at the

Fostoria Learning Center.

There was no one on the sick list.

Old Business:

Vince spoke about Marketplace not permitting coin sales, and that even his ad for a bank was pulled.

Red Books are available at $12. Several were sold at the meeting.

Show Business:

We have 6 months to go.

Vince asked again for the same people to head up their respective committees

Raffle prizes were discussed. They are staying the same as last year.

The club is still in need of someone to volunteer to Chair or Co-Chair the show.

New Business:

Some other coin clubs’ newsletters were passed around so members could see other perspectives.

Examples of their fundraising and attendance-driving methods were talked about.

If anyone is interested in including a “buy, sell, trade” ad in the back of the newsletter, that can be done.

Chuck read an article about a time capsule from 1828 that cadets had hid in a monument.

Bruce shared

some wooden nickels.

Our Facebook page was updated.

2023 Mint Sets are currently not available thru the US Mint; same with halves.
